Taiwo is a business and finance professional with over 13 years of experience cutting across investment banking & advisory, project finance, corporate strategy, mortgage, credit & risk management, new product development, structured finance, loan syndication & administration, relationship management, business development amongst others. He started his career in the financial services industry with Haggai Savings & Loans (Now Haggai Mortgage Bank Ltd) as a Funds Transfer Officer where he later rose to become the team lead. In 2015, Taiwo was transferred to Product & Asset Management department where he was responsible for the creation of risk assets, new product development and management of funds in excess of ₦30bn.

Prior to being the Head, Capital Market and Institutional Sales in his last role, Taiwo was a pioneer staff of the Emerging Africa Capital Group, a financial services firm licensed by SEC to provide investment banking services, asset management and trusteeship. He was the Team Lead, SME and Special Products, where he was involved with core investment banking services and also supporting SMEs in advisory capacity amongst others. He has helped sub-nationals, corporates and SMEs to raise capital in excess of US$200 million.

Taiwo is a SEC Sponsored Individual and has participated in various industry-wide initiatives along with the Chairman, Financial Literacy Committee of SEC. He is also an International Partner member of the World Business Angel Investment Forum (WBAF).

Taiwo holds a degree in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Benin and M.Sc Finance, University of Lagos (In view).
